e Shakti is a Campaign in Madhya Pradesh for Digital and Internet Awareness in Women. Government of Madhya Pradesh has launched this campaign for “Promotion of Digital Literacy amongst Women in Madhya Pradesh”, to get 5 Lakhs women online literate in the state, empower them and reduce the gender disparity in the online world. 

Objective of this campaign is to get women online in India and helping women getting aware and trained for digital literacy, which will empower them to benefit from Internet for the following things-


1.Awareness of Internet
2.Knowledge of Internet
3.Reach of Internet

Feature of Campaign
Free of cost Internet Awareness Campaign  on 
• How to browse Internet on Laptop / Mobile
• Usage of Search (like Google) & how to search in local language
• How to use Google Translate to convert text in local languages
• Searching & watching Video Online – YouTube
• Introduction to email/gmail and how to set up email account and exchange mails
• Usage of Google Maps 
• First Step towards talking women’s online
• Training has been provided through Videos, Laptop, Presentation, where various presentations, videos and live examples are covered for audience
• Demo Devices for proper hand on 
• Basic Sound System –to address large audience in effective manner.

• Phase-I (In association with Google India) :One Lakh Sixty Thousand Women were benefitted
• Phase-II(In association with Bharti Airtel): Launched during the “Digital India Week”  and One Lakh FiftyTwo Thousand Women were benefitted
• Phase-III(In association with District e-Governance Society) :Launched  at Block Level  in  all the districts in the state. The campaign implemented through our in-house team of District e-Governance Society. ApproximatelyTwo Lakh Forty Six Thousand Women got benefitted. 
• Total Five Lakh Fifty Eight Thousand Women have been benefitted with this campaign.

Through Feed Back & Monitoring system it has been found that audience got benefited by this campaign, also willing to learn more & adopt such systems in future.
